This Cookie Policy lists the cookies and similar storage SlaySlop uses on slayslop.com and related app surfaces.
It should be read with our Privacy Policy. This is a starter template for product launch and should be reviewed by counsel for your jurisdiction.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related storage such as localStorage to remember your cookie choice and some product preferences.
Cookies we use
Required cookies keep the product working. Analytics cookies (Google and PostHog) are on by default. Choose Necessary only on the banner if you want to opt out.

Similar storage
Your cookie choice is stored in localStorage so we do not ask on every visit.
Unless you opt out, PostHog also stores product-usage data in localStorage. That is not a cookie. Choosing Necessary only removes those keys.

Consent
Analytics cookies are on by default so we can measure how the product is used. If you choose Necessary only, we remember that choice, stop analytics, delete optional Google cookies that were already set, and remove PostHog localStorage keys.
Managing cookies
Clearing site data for slayslop.com resets stored preferences and restores the default (analytics on). To opt out, choose Necessary only on the banner. You can also use browser controls to block cookies generally.
Blocking required cookies may prevent sign-in or other core features from working.
Updates
We may update this Policy as our tooling changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
