Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets rules for using SlaySlop. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

Authorized scanning only

You may only scan or monitor websites, IPs, or assets that you own or are explicitly authorized to assess. Do not use SlaySlop to probe third-party sites without permission.

Where domain verification is offered, complete it before enabling aggressive checks or automated deep scanning.

Prohibited activities

• Using the Service to attack, disrupt, overload, or degrade any system (including denial-of-service behavior).
• Attempting to bypass plan limits, rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
• Uploading or transmitting malware, or using findings to exploit systems without authorization.
• Scraping the Service or using bots against SlaySlop itself except via documented APIs within your plan limits.
• Sharing account credentials, forging identity, or impersonating others.
• Using the Service for unlawful surveillance, fraud, harassment, or other illegal activity.
• Reselling raw scan capacity in ways that violate these Terms without a written agreement.

API, webhooks, and automation

Automations must respect documented rate limits and authentication. Do not use webhooks or portals to exfiltrate data you are not entitled to access.

Shared links and portals

You are responsible for who receives share tokens and client portal links. Treat them as sensitive credentials for the scoped report or site. Prefer password-protected links when sharing outside your organization, revoke links you no longer need, and never paste bearer URLs into tickets, chat logs, or analytics tools.

Enforcement

We may investigate abuse reports, throttle or suspend access, delete abusive content, and cooperate with law enforcement when required.

Report abuse of the Service to support@slayslop.com. Report security vulnerabilities in SlaySlop itself to security@slayslop.com (see /security).
